Transport options

Rideshare (Uber/Lyft): The most common option. TPA’s rideshare pickup is on Level 1 of the main terminal’s Blue side short-term parking garage. Expect $12 to $20 depending on time of day and surge pricing. The ride takes 15 to 25 minutes.

Taxi: Taxi service is available from the airport. Metered fares run $20 to $30 to the cruise port. Taxis queue at the ground level of the main terminal.

Pre-booked shuttle: Several companies offer shared shuttle transfers from TPA to Port Tampa Bay at $15 to $25 per person. Your cruise line may also sell motor coach transfers as a booking add-on. Book in advance during peak cruise season.

Rental car: If you are driving to the port, Port Tampa Bay charges $15 per day for cruise parking. For a 7-night cruise, that adds up to $105, which is lower than PortMiami or Port Canaveral parking. Valet adds $20 flat.
