How do these airline comparisons work?
Each comparison is a head-to-head analysis of two airlines on baggage, seats, on-time performance, routes, loyalty, and total cost. The data in every spec table is pulled live from our airline baggage dataset, so dimensions and fees are always current. The narrative is hand-written for each pair based on what actually differs between the two carriers.
Which airlines are compared?
We are adding new pairs regularly, starting with the most commonly searched head-to-heads: US big-4 comparisons, US ultra-low-cost matchups (Spirit vs Frontier), and European budget comparisons (Ryanair vs easyJet). If you want a specific pair added, drop us a line.
How often are airline comparisons updated?
Each comparison is verified against both airlines' published policies at least quarterly. The spec tables update automatically when we update the underlying airline data. The narrative sections are reviewed for major changes (new fare categories, fee hikes, route changes) and re-published with the verification date refreshed.
