What is Vientapps?

Vientapps is a one-person software studio based in Logan, Utah, founded and run by Caden Sorenson, a senior staff engineer with 15+ years of experience and a Computer Science degree from Utah State University. We build small, focused tools that solve real problems: iOS apps, browser extensions, websites, and web utilities. No enterprise software, no bloat. Just things that work.

Who runs it

Caden is a senior staff engineer by day and has been shipping software since 2014. That means every Vientapps project gets the same rigor as production work at a larger company: thoughtful architecture, accessible UI, proper SEO, and real testing. Connect on LinkedIn or GitHub.

How we work

We build in public. Every project gets a build log here covering the decisions made, the mistakes made, and what we'd do differently. The goal is to be useful to other builders, not just to collect followers.

The philosophy

• Ship something small rather than design something perfect
• Own the distribution: App Store, Chrome Web Store, direct
• Write about what you build; it's the best marketing
• Keep costs near zero until revenue justifies spending
